Get certified for cyber

Get certified on-the-job training

Opportunities to develop cyber skills as part of on-the-job training are growing and there’s a number of ways to validate and certify your skills. Here’s where you’ll find out how.

Get certified with ISACA

Right now, a large part of the cyber workforce in South Australia has had their on-the-job skills certified by ISACA (previously known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association), which serves 165,000 IT governance professionals worldwide. Skills are certified through an examination and application process. You can find more information on the process, or start your application below.

Get certified with CompTIA

CompTIA Security+ offers global certification for the basic skills and core knowledge needed for a career in cybersecurity. If you are keen to start a career in defence cybersecurity, this certification is for you. It's popular among defence organisations who use it to validate security skills of current and future employees. The certification is earned through an exam process.

Get recognition for skills with IBM

A program, free to schools in South Australia, and available for people from 13 up to the age of 20, means you can gain cyber skills in specific areas, while getting industry-recognised badges. Skills gained through this program could contribute towards vocational education and training or degree qualifications.

Train with the Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre

The Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre (A3C) offers training to update cyber skills in specific areas of demand. The organisation has an office at Lot Fourteen and is a central connection point for business looking to improve their cyber resilience.
